  • Project control
  • Information management
  • Requirements and configuration management

Following his graduation as a civil and environmental engineer, Brodsky successfully managed a multitude of geotechnical and geological engineering projects in the commercial and residential arenas. Following the construction management of large civil water-related projects such as pumping plants, canal systems, roads and bridges, he transitioned to the evaluation and negotiation of large construction and supply contract claims and major modifications, successfully orchestrated one of first litigation defenses using an integrated cost and schedule network. After he successfully managed the design and implementation of a master cost and schedule control system, he later functioned as a Contracting Officer, where he revolutionized the construction contracting incentive and negotiated procurements programs.

Brodsky then managed projects for the Department of Energy for more than 15 years, including most of the technical and administrative functions associated with the DOE’s nuclear waste programs. Successfully managing projects in most of the areas listed above, he successfully integrated the financial and budgeting systems into a massive C/SCSC project cost and schedule system and initiated revolutionary efforts to leverage technology throughout many historically diverse governmental business systems.
