Safety & Health
ARA mandates employee compliance with all security measures at any given time and on every project. ARA will provide specific training per facility to inform and make staff aware of the actions that would need to take place in an event of a breach of security. There are certain requirements such as the use of card keys and badges as well as other imperative security measures that will be enforced at all times.
A.R. Acosta Ltd.’s extensive experience working within the Federal Government includes a commitment for protecting confidential information throughout contract execution. Employees are trained to prevent unauthorized releases of information in accordance with the regulatory and statutory requirements such as the Privacy Act and the Procurement Integrity Act. Non-Disclosure Agreements are standard, as are background checks including reference and credit checks. A.R. Requirements Management and Configuration Management
ARA has implemented Microsoft's Cloud Computing suite of software services, which include SharePoint, a robust document management portal. SharePoint has numerous document control features, which include security groups, document versioning capabilities, access controls, tracking of meeting notes, issues, risks and action items to support the success of a project. Where appropriate, ARA will manage all project documentation via SharePoint in response to our commitment to configuration management.
Project Control
The ARA team contains experts in project and program control of large projects. This includes not only integrated cost and schedule networking, total system life cycle cost estimating, earned value management (EVMS), performance management (including the implementation of performance dashboard reporting concurrently with the integration of formal C/SCSC EVMS data with data mining), but the integration of budget and finance controls with contract management. This expertise forms the basis for ARA’s contract management and provides the reporting controls for clients to rely upon by audit agency required oversight. Where appropriate, ARA will utilize Microsoft’s Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solution (MS Project Server, SharePoint, MS Project) for overall project control applications involving multiple projects.
Engineering Regimen
ARA expertise spans the life cycle of project management from conceptual planning to operations and maintenance of the completed facilities. As such, we are invested in providing engineering regimen via state-of-the-art technology to enable economies of scale and scope for all segments of the project management life cycle. This includes LEED certified designs and renovations as well as the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM). These choices enable accurate and efficient integration of designs, minimize construction anomalies and provide for client efficiencies in operations long after the job is completed.
Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Based on the strictest nuclear NQA-1 standards, ARA’s QA/QC management plan will be ISO 9000 compliant in the near future. ARA is committed to executing all initiatives in accordance with traceable, duplicatable quality management standards.
